RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Gov. Pat McCrory delivered the biennial State of the State address on Wednesday, February 4, 2015. In a speech that spanned roughly one hour and 10 minutes, the governor laid out a plan for his goals:

-- creating jobs for everyone who wants a job

-- providing students with the skills necessary for 21st century jobs

-- connecting rural and urban centers with upgraded transportation access

-- improving public safety and medical coverage for the vulnerable

-- continuing efforts to make government more efficient
