RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Both houses of the General Assembly convene at 12 Noon Wednesday, January 28, for the unofficial start of the legislatives session. Lawmakers met earlier this month for the official "first day" to elect leaders and organize committees.

The House will be called to order by Speaker Tim Moore of Cleveland County.
