RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Diane Gaines has been appointed to the North Carolina State Banking Commission. The Guilford County resident is the founder, president and CEO of Advanced Personnel Resources Inc.  

The commission supervises, directs and reviews all actions of the Commissioner of Banks on issues such as the establishment of new banks, the opening and closing of bank branches and mergers.

Gaines' term is for four years.

Gov. Pat McCrory made the appointment.
