RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - State Auditor Beth Wood's office is reminding the public that they have a vehicle for reporting government waste and abuse. 

 

In a tweet this week, the auditor's office tweeted: 

 

"Call our hotline if you know state money is being misused or misspent. Our number is 800-730-8477."

 

The auditor's website, ncauditor.net, features recent audit reports of the performance of state departments and agencies.

 

Beth Wood is a Democrat who has been elected to the office twice. She is a certified public accountant.
