RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - The Department of Administration has released the public meeting schedule for three boards under its jurisdiction: The NC Council for Women, the State Construction Office, and the Commission of Indian Affairs.

October 9, 2014
NC Council for Women – The Council for Women will meet from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the 5th Floor Conference Room, DENR Building, 217 West Jones Street, Raleigh. The purpose of the meeting is the swearing-in of new board members and to hear a presentation on the Status of Girls in NC from Dr. Amie Hess from Meredith College. State Construction Office – The State Building Commission will meet from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at 301 N. Wilmington Street, Suite 450, Raleigh, NC. The purpose of the meeting is to approve designer selections and discuss the State’s capital facilities development and management program. Commission of Indian Affairs – The Education Committee will meet from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. by teleconference. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the comments that Mrs. Crowe received from Tribes and Organizations regarding the proposed changes to SACIE legislation. Commission of Indian Affairs – The Recognition Committee will meet from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Governor’s Crime Commission, 120 Front Street, Raleigh.
