RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Breaking glass that has fallen inside and outside two state buildings has necessitated the appointment of barriers and warning signs this week.

The barriers and signs are up now at the Nature Resource Center building, part of the Museum of Natural Sciences in downtown, according to the Department of Administration (DOA).

The same postings will also be up around the Department of Environment and Natural Resources.

Actions are being taken due to the discovery of glass materials that have broken and fallen inside and outside of the buildings.  DOA and DENR have coordinated inspections of the installation and materials to determine potential causes of the glass breakage, according to DOA.
