U.S. And N.C. Flags To Be Lowered For Patriot DAy Print

RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Department of Administration Secretary Bill Daughtridge has notified agency officials that all U.S. and North Carolina flags should be lowered in honor of Patriot Day on September 11. 

 
Gov. Pat McCrory ordered the flags to half-staff on all state facilities from sunrise to sunset.
 
The governor said in a statement that the lowering of flags unites North Carolinians in remembrance and prayer for the country.
