RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Hurricane Arthur came and went, and so have the special governmental orders that were instituted by Gov. Pat McCrory.  
 
Frank Perry, Secretary of the Department of Public Safety announced Monday that the governor has terminated the State of Emergency declaration and truck weight restriction waivers that were signed July 2 to allow emergeny officials to deal effectively with the storm. 
 
The termination is detailed in Executive Order 60.
 
The declarations were needed to enable state agencies to rapidly deploy needed resources and allow private companies to quickly move commodities to respond to and recover from the storm. 
 
The waivers expired at 10:30 a.m Tuesday.
