RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Next week's meeting of the state's Environmental Review Commission will include a discussion of the February 2 release of coal ash from the Duke Energy Dan River station into the Dan River.
The group will meet Tuesday, April 22 at 1:30 p.m. in Room 643 of the Legislative Office Building in Raleigh.
A legislative notice says the group will the long-term management of coal ash in the state and will hear a presentation on the recovery of costs by electric power suppliers.
