RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - The Department of Administration has released its April schedule for public hearings and meetings of agencies and commissions under its purview. The schedule is below:

 
Thursday, April 10
Commission of Indian Affairs – The Ad Hoc Land Trust Committee will meet from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. by teleconference. The purpose of the meeting is to review the draft Indian Land Trust Committee Agreement and discuss procedures for placing land into trust by the NCCIA as authorized by NCGS 143B-505(4). Commission of Indian Affairs – The Education Committee will meet from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. by teleconference. The purpose of the meeting is to make SACIE appointments and nominations. Please contact Mickey Locklear at 919-807-4449 for more information.
 
 
Friday, April 11
Youth Advocacy and Involvement Office – The Youth Advocacy Council will meet from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at 116 West Jones Street, Room 5035, in Raleigh. Wednesday, April 16
Commission of Indian Affairs – The Indian Child Welfare Committee will meet from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. by teleconference. The purpose of the meeting is to have a town hall meeting in select American Indian communities to encourage dialogue between the American Indian constituency and local social service and child welfare departments. Tuesday, April 22
State Construction Office - The State Building Commission will meet from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at 301 N. Wilmington Street, Suite 450, Raleigh, NC. The purpose of the meeting is to approve designer selections and discuss the State’s capital facilities development and management program. Friday, April 25
Youth Advocacy and Involvement Office – The State Youth Council will meet from 6:00 p.m. on April 25 until 1:00 p.m. on April 27 at the Doubletree by Hilton, 2717 West Fort Macon Road, Atlantic Beach, NC. The purpose of this meeting is to hold the State Youth Council Annual Spring Convention. They will elect new officers for the coming year, begin planning activities for the coming year and present awards for outstanding achievement.
