RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - A new inter-agency pilot program will help build awareness of veterans' services by utilizing a closed circuit television network located at 124 driver licenses offices across North Carolina.

The Division of Veterans Affairs, the Division of Motor Vehicles, and the Motor Vehicle Network (MVN) are partnering on the project, according to the Department of Administration.

“This interagency partnership is a fresh approach to State government and we are excited to be working with DMV to find new ways to communicate with our veterans,” said NCDVA Director Ilario Pantano in a news release.

Current messaging provides veterans with information about the NC Women Veterans Summit and Expo to be held on April 17, 2014 at the North Carolina National Guard Joint Force Headquarters in Raleigh. There, women veterans will have direct access to information and services offered by NCDVA and many others.
