RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - As of Friday, July 20, North Carolina's ending cash balance was $1,576,649,721.16, according to State Controller David McCoy. The unreserved cash balance stood at $956,774,140.50

 
In his weekly General Fund Cash Watch, McCoy reports the state's Monday, July 16 cash balance was $1,384,479,317.30
 
The state added tax and non-tax receipts totalling $513,096,749.57, and other receipts in the amount of $266,102,876.59.
 
Disbursements were made for payroll ($49,119,714.24); State Aid ($53,299,238.43); Medicaid/Other Provider Payments ($198,214,279.81); Tax Refunds/Distributions ($23,300,468.41); and General Operating ($264,095,521.41).
 
Cash was in reserve for local governments sales and use tax payable ($279,445,048.27); other tax liabilities ($6,806,388.04); repairs and renovations ($24,000,000.00); savings ($295,641,411.00); disaster ($4,441,534.20); and JDIG ($541,199.15).
 
After subtracting reserved cash, the state's unreserved cash balance stood at $965,774,140.50.
