The state of North Carolina is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the death of Robert Lee Matthews, age 44, in Greensboro, North Carolina. 
 
On Tuesday, August 30, 2016, police officers responded to 1308 W. Florida Street in reference to a found body.  Upon arrival, officers located Mr. Matthews in his backyard suffering from a fatal gunshot wound.
