Raleigh, N.C. - Governor Pat McCrory announced today that the state is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the murder of Gerric Adrian Rountree.

On June 28, 2005, the Elizabeth City Police Department found Gerric Adrian Rountree, age 26, lying on the kitchen floor in his home on Hull Drive in Elizabeth City with a gunshot wound. His home had been ransacked.
