UNC School of Government Offers Webinar On Ethics For Local Government Officials PDF Print E-mail

RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - City and county governing board members who have been elected to office have an opportunity to satisfy ethics training requirements through a new webinar from the UNC School of Government.

On Wednesday, May 18, the school's Norma Houston will lead the two-hour webinar. The cost is $125.

"These webinars satisfy the 2 clock hours of local ethics training required by state law for elected and appointed members of city councils and county boards of commissioners. This training is required to be completed within 12 months of election day and is required every time they are elected, re-elected or appointed to a local office," according to details posted at sog.unc.edu.
