RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Jackson County is looking for a seasoned public administrator to serve the 40,000 residents, replacing the current manager who is retiring.
A job posting on the website of the North Carolina League of Municipalities reads in part:
"Jackson County prefers a manager who will successfully establish and foster internal and external relationships while having a strong presence in our WNC community. The successful candidate will lead departments and build teams to provide quality services to the County’s citizen’s in a fiscally responsible manner."
The county's budget is listed as $62 million. It employs 400 full time employees.
Applications are due April 10.
