RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Once Navassa Town Council member calls it a struggle for power. That was scenario as the council voted to take away administrative duties it has given to the mayor several years ago.

Mayor Eulis Willis said he will have to "adjust to a diminished role," according to starnewsonline.com.

Councilman Jerry Merrick complained that information was not flowing to council members and that the town is in debt but the spending continues.
