Kinston Attorney Appointed To 8th Judicial District Seat Print

RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Attorney Annette Turik of Kinston has been tapped to fill a district court vacancy in the eighth judicial district, which serves Wayne, Lenoir, and Greene counties.

Turik succeeds Judge Timothy Finan, who is deceased.

Turik has been an attorney and partner at Wooten and Turik, PLLC in Kinston since 2003. Prior to that, she was an associate attorney at Wallace, Morris and Barwick in Kinston from 1997-2003.  
 
Turik holds a bachelor of science degree in criminal justice from North Carolina Wesleyan College and a juris doctor degree from North Carolina Central University School of Law.
