RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - The jockeying continues over who controls the Asheville water system: the city or the Metropolitan Sewerage District.

The Asheville Citizen-Times reports the North Court of Appeals recently declined the city's request that the court revisit its ruling that upheld the transfer to the District.

It is possible the state's highest court will weigh in on the case, which revolves around ta General Assembly law passed two years ago. Some say the law is unconstitutional.
