RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Gov. Pat McCrory will be on hand Wednesday afternoon in Charlotte for what is  being dubbed an "economic development announcement."

The 1 p.m. event appears on the governor's public schedule. It will take place at the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce on Tryon Street.

The event is open to credentialed press.
