RALEIGH, (SGSRToday.com) - Retail and office development is on the way to downtown Brevard, thanks to a $200,000 renewal grant from the state Department of Commerce. The money comes from the Main Street Solutions Fund.

The project will involve construction at 43 South Broad Street.

"We applaud the city of Brevard for its commitment to revitalizing an historic hotel and using this award for new construction on an empty lot downtown," said Commerce Secretary John Skvarla. "This visionary initiative will help breathe new life into a wonderful downtown area."
