RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Supporters of bringing back North Carolina's historic preservation tax credit will have the bully pulpit Monday at City Hall in Salisbury.

Gov. Pat McCrory and Secretary of Cultural Resources Susan Klutzz will gather at Salisbury City Hall to discuss why they support the tax credit they say is necessary to help revitalize ailing main streets across North Carolina.

Those who oppose the credits say it gives unfair advantage to some businesses over others.

The credit ended at the end of 2014.
