RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Forsyth County state Sen. Joyce Krawiec has been appointed to the Roanoke River Bi-State Commission.

The commission provides guidance and make recommendations to local, state, and federal legislative and administrative bodies, and to others for the use of stewardship and enhancement of water and other natural resources.

The appointee serves at the pleasure of the governor.
