RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - The Division of Parks and Recreation has announced that Adam Carver has been promoted to Superintendent of Dismal State Park.
Carver succeeds Joy Greenwood, who accepted a position as superintendent of Merchants Millpond State Park earlier this year.
The park is located three miles south of the North Carolina/Virginia border on US Hwy 17.
A superintendent is the chief of operations for the park.
