RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Transportation, neighborhoods, and housing comprise the projects that will appear on the Charlotte ballot this fall. City council members approved adding the $146 million bond referendum on the November ballot on Monday evening.
The Lake Wylie Pilot reports that a presentation made by Interim Finance Director Randy Harrington showcased the following plan:
-- $110 million for transportation
-- $20 million to neighborhoods
-- $15 million for housing
The state's Local Government Commission must give the go-ahead to the referendum before it can appear on the ballot.
