Two Appointments To Judicial Districts 10 and 16A Print

RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Charles Gilliam of Wake County and Michael Stone of Hoke County  have received judicial appointments from Gov. Pat McCrory.

 
Gilliam has been appointed to serve as a district court judge in the 10th Judicial District. 
 
He serves as a faculty member at N.C. State University's School of Management where he teaches business law and corporate finance.  He assists small business operators and nonprofit organizations on a pro-bono basis. 
 
Prior to this he was the assistant general counsel for Xerox Corporation.  Gilliam and his wife live in Raleigh and have two children.  
 
Stone has been appointed to serve as a district court judge in the 16A Judicial District. 
 
He is the sole proprietor of the Law Firm of Michael A. Stone, PA. Prior to this, he worked for Hatley & Stone, PA and Stone & Associates. Stone and his wife live in Raeford. They have one daughter.
