RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) -Sherry Kellett lives in Haywood County, but she'll be spending more time in the Asheboro area, thanks to a six-year appointment to the N.C. Zoological Park Council.

 
The council advises the Secretary of the Department of Environment & Natural Resources on concepts for the Zoological Park in Asheboro. 
 
Kellett previously worked for BB&T Corporation as a corporate controller and principal accounting officer.
