RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - IHS Global Insight economists have tagged the Raleigh/Cary area as second only to Austin, Texas in projected economic growth through 2020.
Fayetteville, Arkansas takes the third spot, according to the study, which was released by the U.S. Conference of Mayors at its recent meeting in Dallas.
The Raleigh/Cary area's growth is estimated at 4.3 percent over the period, the study says.
