RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Two Carteret County residents have been reappointed to the Morehead City Navigation and Pilotage Commission. Warren Davis and Andrew Midgett Sr. received the appointments from Gov. Pat McCrory last week.

 
The commission promotes the safe and expeditious movement of waterborne commerce on the navigable waters of the state. 
 
Davis is a founding partner at the law firm Davis, Murrelle & Lyles P.A., where he now serves as an emeritus pro bono attorney.  
 
Midgett has piloted ships in Norfolk, Va., Charleston, S.C. and Morehead City and was the president of the Morehead City Pilots Association.  
 
The appointments are for three years.
