RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - A transformer fire in the main headquarters of the Internal Revenue Service continues to impact functioning of the building. The agency has announced the building is shut down through Friday.

Federalnewsradio.com reports the building has limited electricity and no air conditioning.

Employees have been told to work from home if possible and to pick up computers and other necessary work items from the building.
