RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Rep. Mark Meadows will co-host a public forum in Hendersonville about the IRS with National Taxpayer Advocate Nina Olson.
The meeting will take place Monday, April 4. Meadows is chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Subcommittee on Government Operations.
The forum will review what taxpayers want and need from the IRS to comply with their tax obligations.
The IRS has been developing a “Future State” plan that envisions how it will operate in five years and beyond but Olson has expressed concern that the plan doesn't meet taxpayer needs.
