RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - President Obama calls it his plan for "investments to meet our greatest challenges not only for the year ahead but for decades to come."

He's talking about his proposed budget for fiscal year 2017 -- a $4.1 trillion plan.

The plan is now posted at whitehouse.gov.

It can be downloaded as a complete document, or as nine separate files.

"It drives down the deficit. It includes smart savings on healthcare, immigration, tax reform," said President Obama of the budget, according to reuters.com.

Republicans have portrayed the budget as dead on arrival.
