RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - When President Obama releases his 2017 federal budget next week, it will contain a 1.6 percent pay raise for federal workers, civilian and military.
FederalNewsRadio.com, sourcing the Washington Post, reports that unions are panning the pay raise, saying it isn't enough. They also have concerns about what is termed a pay gap they say exists between the pay for certain skills in the public sector versus the private sector.
