RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Sixth District Congressman Howard Coble will be memorialized Tuesday in Greensboro, the heart of the district he served for decades in Congress.
Gov. Pat McCrory will eulogize Coble, a man the governor has called a friend and mentor.
The service will be held at Westover Church in Greensboro. It is open to the public.
UNC-TV will be sending via satellite live video of the memorial at 12 p.m. They are allowing other outlets to use this feed with the attribution, “Courtesy of UNC-TV.”
Coble passed away last week after a battle with skin cancer. He retired from his congressional seat last year. He was 84.
