RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Thousands of people, thousands of vehicles, media everywhere. That's the expectation when Pope Francis visits Washington D.C. September 22 through 24. And things could be so dicey that the Office of Personnel Management has issued a memo recommending federal workers take the days off or work from home.

Pope Francis will speak before Congress and meet with President Obama during the visit. Worldwide media are expected to be along for the trip.

The memo from Acting Director Beth Cobert can be found at https://www.chcoc.gov/content/impact-2015-visit-his-holiness-pope-francis-washington-dc-commuters
