RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Expect to see Sens. Richard Burr and Thom Tillis and members of the Congressional delegation in North Carolina during August. That's because the summer recess on Capitol Hill has begun.

Both chambers have adjourned until September 7.

The official Senate calendar lists August 10 through September 7 as "State Work Period."

The U.S. House of Representatives calendar lists the same period as "District Work Periods."
