RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Educators and allied experts looking for jobs in North Carolina school districts have plenty from which to choose.

A check of the Department of Public Instruction site shows 1,140 job listings. And that's not all that's available. The state site says not all districts post their jobs with the state.

This week, two job fairs will be held.

On Thursday, educators are encouraged to attend the Alamance-Burlington School System Job Fair in Mebane. The system is looking for Science, Exceptional Children, High School Education, Middle School Education, Teachers, Social Studies, Mathematics, Elementary Education, and English Language Arts.

On Saturday, an event will be held by Cumberland County Schools in Hope Mills. The posting says Cumberland is seeking Troops to Teachers, Science, Exceptional Children, Career and Technical Education, Teachers, Social Studies, Mathematics, Elementary Education, and English Language.
