RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Christine Fitch of the Wilson County Board of Education will be recognized at this week's state Board of Education meeting.

Fitch is the new Local Board Education Advisor. The meeting agenda shows Fitch being introduced following approval of December 2015 minutes after the board convenes at 9 a.m.

Superintendent June Atkinson will follow Fitch and give her report to the state board.
