Chatham County Science Teacher Snags $25,000 Award From Milken Family Foundation Print

RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Chatham Central High science teacher Eric Patin is $25,000 richer, having been awarded the money as North Carolina's Milken Educator.

The Milken Family Foundation funds the awards.

Patin has taught science for eight years.

According to the Department of Public Instruction, the award seeks to showcase teachers who are in the early part of their career and is based on a teacher's student learning results, accomplishments outside the classroom. and more.
