RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - The commission charged with reviewing North Carolina's adoption of the standards known as Common Core will hear from the public at its October 19 meeting in Raleigh.

"Due to limited time and seating, we invite the first 20 participants to express their views on how the Common Core State Standards in English and Math may have impacted their children's school experience," according to a meeting post distributed by the Department of Administration.
