State Lottery Contributes Record $522 Million To Education During FY 2014-15 Print

RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Record gross revenue from the North Carolina lottery has led to a transfer of a record amount of cash into the state's education coffers.

The lottery reports it has tranferred $522 million to education for the fiscal year ended June 30.

Executive Director Alice Garland says a new game proved very popular -- "All of Nothing."

The state-run lottery has nearly 7,000 retail vendors after nine years of operation.
