RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - The North Carolina State Board of Education will meet via conference call on Friday for a closed session meeting focused on litigation in the Hoke County v. State of North Carolina and State Board of Education case.

According to the Department of Public Instruction, the meeting will begin as an open session that is live streamed beginning at noon. The chairman will ask for a motion to go into closed session to discuss the legal case.

Following the closed session, the meeting will resume as an open session and will adjourn.
