New Appointments To State's Charter School Advisory Board Print

RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - North Carolina's charter school  advisory board will see two members reappointed for another term, and the board will also welcome a new member.

Joe Maimone has been appointed for another term of service after serving on the Board since 2013. Maimone is the Headmaster at Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy in Mooresboro.

Tammi Sutton has also been re-appointed to the Charter Schools Advisory Board after serving since 2013. Sutton is Executive Director of KIPP Eastern North Carolina Public Schools. Sutton previously served as Executive Director, Founder, and Principal of KIPP Gaston College Preparatory.

Hilda Parler has been appointed for a first term on the Charter Schools Advisory Board. Parler is the Founder and President of the Board of Directors of Wake Forest Charter Academy.
