RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Wondering about the details of the new North Carolina report for schools? A new Department of Public Instruction web video aims to address the law in detail. It is among the latest round of web highlights from the agency.


 1. Global-Ready Designation Application/Guidance Documents on the Web
Materials that guide district and school leaders through the process of applying for the State Board of Education’s Global Ready School Designation are available online at  http://www.ncpublicschools.org/globaled/actions/item4-2. The Global-Ready Designation provides a process for schools and districts to prepare students for living, working and contributing to an interconnected world.

 

 2. Webinar/Presentation for RttT Closeout Activities now Online
A webinar and presentation highlighting program closeout activities and timelines for the Race to the Top (RttT) grant are available online at  http://www.ncpublicschools.org/rttt/webinars/. The webinar and presentation apply to school districts and charter schools approved for the No-Cost Extension to their RttT grant.

 

3. New Instructional Video on the Web for NC School Report Card
