RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Gov. Pat McCrory has made multiple appointments to the board of trustees at more than 50 North Carolina community colleges. Following are details on the appointees and their terms.

Alamance Community College Board of Trustees
Nancy Rosborough (Alamance County) -  Rosborough is the founder and CEO of Mycorrhiza Biotech.

Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College Board of Trustees
Mary Ann Rice (Buncombe County) -  Rice is a senior vice president for the State Employees Credit Union.   
The Honorable Nathan Ramsey (Buncombe County) - Ramsey recently completed a term as a member of the NC House.  Ramsey is an attorney with the law firm Blackwell and Ramsey. He and his family operate a Fairview dairy,  The Ramsey Farm. He will fill an unexpired term through June 30, 2017.

Beaufort County Community College Board of Trustees
James Chesnutt (Beaufort County) – Chesnutt is the CEO of National Spinning Company.

Bladen Community College Board of Trustees
Richard “Ricky” Leinwand (Bladen County) – Leinwand is the owner/operator of Leinwand’s of Elizabethtown. This is a reappointment.

Brunswick Community College Board of Trustees
Dwight Flanagan (Brunswick County) – Flanagan is a retired State Farm agent.

Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute Board of Trustees
George Robinson (Caldwell County) – Robinson owns Robinson Lumber Company in Lenoir.

Cape Fear Community College Board of Trustees
Charles Kays (New Hanover County) – Kays is a plastic surgeon at Wilmington Plastic Surgery Specialist.

Carteret Community College Board of Trustees
Eric Gregson (Carteret County) – Gregson is a business banker vice president with First Citizens Bank.

Catawba Valley Community College Board of Trustees
John Bray (Catawba County)- Bray is the CEO of Vanguard Furniture.

Central Carolina Community College Board of Trustees
Julian Philpott (Lee County) – Philpott is the secretary and general counsel for the North Carolina Farm Bureau Federation.

Central Piedmont Community College Board of Trustees
Scott Syfert (Mecklenburg County) – Syfert is a member of Moore and Van Allen.
 
Cleveland Community College Board of Trustees
Wayne King (Cleveland County) – King is a senior adviser to Congressman Mark Meadows.

Coastal Carolina Community College Board of Trustees
Nelson “Pete” Burgess (Onslow County) – Burgess is a franchisee of Chick-fil-A throughout Onslow County.

Craven Community College Board of Trustees
William Taylor (Craven County) – Taylor is a project manager for Trader Construction Company.

College of the Albemarle Board of Trustees
Arty Tillett (Dare County) – Tillett is the principal of First Flight High School.

Davidson County Community College Board of Trustees
John Walser (Davidson County) – Walser was previously the mayor of Lexington.

Edgecombe Community College Board of Trustees
Mark Petruzziello (Edgecombe County) – Dr. Petruzziello is a general surgeon in Tarboro.

Fayetteville Technical Community College Board of Trustees
Hilton "Hutch" Hutchens (Cumberland County) – Hutchens is a partner with Hutchens Law Firm. Hutchens will fill an unexpired term through June 30, 2017
David Williford (Cumberland County) – Williford is the director of human resources at M.J. Soffe LLC.

Forsyth Technical Community College Board of Trustees
John Davenport (Forsyth County) – Davenport is the president of Davenport Engineering.

Gaston College Board of Trustees
The Honorable Alan Cloninger (Gaston County) – Cloninger is the Sheriff of Gaston County. This is a reappointment.

Guilford Technical Community College Board of Trustees
John Snider (Guilford County) – Snider is president and CEO of Snider Fleet Solutions.  
Russell Stellfox (Guilford County) – Stellfox is the president of Purolator Advanced Filtration. Stellfox will fill an unexpired term through June 30, 2015.  

Halifax  Community College Board of Trustees
Sammy Webb (Halifax County) – Webb is a partner and attorney at Webb, Webb and Summey, P.A.

Haywood Community College Board of Trustees
Tony Beaman (Haywood County) – Beaman served as the director of the Department of Social Services in Hertford and Haywood counties.

Isothermal Community College Board of Trustees
William Eckler (Rutherford County) – Eckler is a farm/plant nursery owner.
James Sprunt Community College Board of Trustees
Jennings Outlaw (Duplin County) – Outlaw is an engineering manager with the N.C. DHHS Caswell Development Center.

Johnston Community College Board of Trustees
W.E. Andrews (Johnston County) – Andrews is a retired military Colonel.  

Lenoir Community College Board of Trustees
Chris Humphrey (Lenoir County) – Humphrey is the owner of an Allstate Insurance Agency branch and ERA Humphrey Realty Group in Goldsboro.

Martin Community College Board of Trustees
Ed Thompson (Bertie County) – Thompson is a retired environmental technician.
 
Mayland Community College Board of Trustees
Bryan Peterson (Yancey County) – Peterson is the human resources director at Altec Industries.

McDowell Technical Community College Board of Trustees
David Patneaude (McDowell County) – Patneaude is a real estate agent with Catawba Properties.

Mitchell Community College Board of Trustees
Kevin Smith (Iredell County) – Smith is the owner of Abundant Manufacturing Inc. and Legend Gear and Transmission.

Montgomery Community College Board of Trustees
Gordon Knowles (Montgomery County) – Knowles previously owned Perfect Image Printing in Charlotte.

Nash Community College Board of Trustees
J. Keith Harris (Nash County) – Harris is a retired fire chief for the city of Rocky Mount and currently assists the American Red Cross as a long-term disaster recovery program manager.

Pamlico Community College Board of Trustees
Gary Keel (Pamlico County) – Keel serves on the Board of Directors for the Eastern Alliance.

Piedmont Community College Board of Trustees
Donald Wilson (Person County) – Wilson is the president and CEO of Donald W. Wilson CPA, PA. This is a reappointment.

Pitt Community College Board of Trustees
Randy Walters (Pitt County) – Walters is the president of Farmville Furniture Company.  

Randolph Community College Board of Trustees
Natasha Dowdy (Randolph County) – Dowdy is director of administration at United Brass Works, Inc.  

Richmond Community College Board of Trustees
The Honorable Charles Brown (Scotland County) – Brown is a part-time volunteer chaplain at Evans Correctional Institute in South Carolina and the chairman of the Scotland County Board of Education.

Roanoke-Chowan Community College Board of Trustees
Julie Terry (Bertie County) – Terry is a school counselor at Bearfield Primary School.

Robeson Community College Board of Trustees
Kyle Chavis (Robeson County) – Chavis is chief credit officer at Lumbee Guaranty Bank.
John Armstrong (Robeson County) - Armstrong retired as a senior vice president of both Lumbee Guaranty Bank and Southern National Bank. Armstrong will fill an unexpired term through June 30, 2015.     

Rockingham Community College Board of Trustees
Scott Barham (Rockingham County) – Barham is a partner at the CPA firm Barham and Associates.

Rowan-Cabarrus Community College Board of Trustees
Matt Barr (Rowan County) – Barr is the chairman and CEO of Carolina Color Corporation.

Sampson Community College Board of Trustees
Nash Johnson (Sampson County) – Johnson is the owner of Nash Johnson and Sons farm.

Sandhills Community College Board of Trustees
Eugene Horne (Moore County) -  Horne is a member/manager at Fuel Mate Express, LLC in the Southern Pines area. This is a reappointment.

South Piedmont Community College Board of Trustees
Billy Norwood (Union County) – Norwood is president and chairman of the board at State Utility Contractors. This is a reappointment.

Southeastern Community College Board of Trustees
Mark Cartret (Columbus County) – Cartret is the CEO of Sellers Bail Bonding and CDO of Tarheel Monitoring.

Stanly Community College Board of Trustees
Kathy Burr (Stanly County) – Burr is an owner and bail bond agent of Burr Bail Bonds. Burr will fill an unexpired term through June 30, 2016.
Joe Brooks (Stanly County) – Brooks is the owner and manager of Brothers Precision Tool Co.

Southwestern Community College Board of Trustees
Jeremy S. Hyatt (Swain County) – Hyatt is the director of natural resources and construction for the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians.

Surry Community College Board of Trustees
Cynthia McBride (Surry County) – McBride is the managing director at the Shelton Companies.

Tri-County Community College Board of Trustees
Paula Watson (Cherokee County) – Watson manages utilization review and case management for Murphy Medical.

Vance-Granville Community College Board of Trustees
Dwight Frazier (Vance County) – Frazier is the founder and CEO of Country Snacks Manufacturing Inc.

Wake Technical Community College Board of Trustees
Edward Paradise (Orange County) – Paradise is RTP site executive for Cisco Systems. This is a reappointment.  

Wayne Community College Board of Trustees
Malcolm Sullivan (Wayne County) – Sullivan is CEO of Pate Dawson Company.

Western Piedmont Community College Board of Trustees
Amparo Alfaro (Burke County) - Alfaro is a Certified Personal Accountant with her own office in Valdese. This is a reappointment.

Wilkes Community College Board of Trustees
The Honorable Mike Inscore (Wilkes County) – Inscore previously worked at the Lowes Home Improvement warehouses at the corporate offices for 24 years prior to retiring. He is the mayor of Wilkesboro. Inscore will fill an unexpired term through June 30, 2015.  
Sylvia Robinson (Wilkes County) – Robinson is a retired teacher, coach and department chair for Wilkes County Schools. This is a reappointment.

Wilson Community College Board of Trustees
C. Buren Williford (Wilson County) – Williford is chairman of the board of Southern Piping Company Mechanical COB.
Richard Horner (Wilson County) - Horner is a branch manager for Carlton Insurance in Mt. Olive. He will fill an unexpired term ending June 30, 2015.
