RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Former Public Safety Secretary Kieran Shanahan has been appointed to a seat on the East Carolina University Board of Trustees. The board oversees development and functions of the university.

The term is four years.

Shanahan is the managing partner of Shanahan Law Group.
