Superintendent June Atkinson To Hold Media Availability Thursday To Discuss New Student Data Print

RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - State Superintendent June Atkinson will speak to reporters about new performance and growth data on Thursday, following the State Board of Education meeting, where board members will receive the data.

 
The report is officially called the 2013-14 Performance and Growth of North Carolina Public Schools report.
 
Joining Atkinson Thursday will be Director of Accountability Services Tammy Howard. 
 
The media availability will be held in the State Superintendent’s Conference Room on the 2nd floor of the Education Building in Raleigh.
 
At Thursday’s meeting, Board members will receive reports on the cohort graduation rates for 2013-14, performance and growth data from the 2013-14 state end-of-grade and end-of-course assessments, results from The ACT and ACT WorkKeys, math course rigor and Annual Measurable Objectives (AMO).
