Methodist University Fundraising Campaign Pays Off |

FAYETTEVILLE, (AP) — Methodist University in Fayetteville has received a pair of donations totaling $1.7 million as part of a fundraising campaign.
The Fayetteville Observer reported that the latest gifts have allowed the school to reach the goal for a health science building on campus.
Ramon Yarborough is donating $1.2 million for the effort. The other donation totaled about $500,000.
Methodist University has now raised $27 million of a $35 million campaign goal.
University President Ben Hancock said the gifts will allow the school to begin construction of key facilities later this summer.
