 2. Mental/Allied Health, National Board Certification Websites have New URLs
 
The Mental Health and Allied Health Services and National Board Certification websites have new web addresses. The new address for Mental Health and Allied Health Services is  http://www.ncpublicschools.org/mah/. The new address for National Board Certification is http://www.ncpublicschools.org/nationalboardcertification/.
 
 3. Child Nutrition Resources Updated for Summer Nutrition Programs 
Updated resources for summer nutrition programs are available on the Child Nutrition website at http://childnutrition.ncpublicschools.gov/programs/summer-nutrition-opportunities. The three summer programs - Summer Seamless Option, Continuation of School Lunch Program and Summer Food Service Program - allow School Food Authorities to offer meals to students during the summer months or other vacation periods. 
 
4. EC Highlights Free Training Opportunities for NC Deaf-Blind Project
The NC Deaf-Blind Project is sponsoring a number of free workshops, webinars and institutes during the summer through early fall. These training opportunities are open to parents and families, teachers and other educational professionals.  5. Latest Information for EC Conference on the Web

We've added information for exhibitors and more. Conference registration and hotel reservations will be available in mid-August.
 
6. Race to the Top Updates Highlight Latest Program News
Race to the Top Updates feature the latest program information for curriculum, professional development and more. 7. Crafting Freedom Document Highlights Resources from NEH Workshop
Crafting Freedom: Black Artisans, Entrepreneurs, and Abolitionists of the Antebellum Upper South provides information and titles of resources from a National Endowment for the Humanities American history workshop. The document is designed for classroom teachers, however anyone interested in reference material related to this time period may find the document helpful.
