RALEIGH, (SGRToday.com) - Beginning this fall, Campbell University students will be able to enroll in a dual-degree program in law and public health. The program will culminate in a master's in public health and a juris doctor degree.
Officials say they created the dual degree to allow students an interdisciplinary view of the intersection between public policy and law.
“The JD/MSPH is a powerful degree that will provide our students with an understanding of the intersections between law, health policy, and public health," said Campbell Law Interim Dean Keith Faulkner in a news release. "
JD/MSPH students will study topics including community health, health system reform, and policy research. This program will be a great compliment for those students seeking a traditional legal job in health law and will provide an alternative career path for those seeking careers in the health care policy and non-profit arenas.”
Campbell Law offers five dual degree programs - three with Campbell University and two with NC State University. |
